I have a husband named Steve and a ferret named Rocket. Our favorite thing to do is go on roadtrips together, Rocky included. He's a great little travel buddy.

I've been lucky enough to know many beloved horses over the years: endlessly patient lesson horses like Elegance and Smokey, and several special Thoroughbreds like Turbo, a retired jumper who I groomed in exchange for lessons; Finn, who I leased for several years; and Posey, a graduate from New Vocations Racehorse Adoption who taught me about confidence and finesse in a way only she could. My only regret is that I don't have more photos of them.

That's why I do what I do: creating images of humans and their horses that celebrate this unique relationship.
